Mayf Nutter Says Thanks

Greetings from Bakersfield, the the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and it's readers. Bob, I want to thank you sincerely for taking the initiative and being the founder of The Rockabilly Hall of Fame; and for all the time, money and effort you have expended for all of us who have been chosen to be honored by being inducted into the Hall.
Thank you for traveling all the way to Bakersfield, California to personally induct me at Buck Owen's Crystal Palace during the LIVE broadcast of Buck's show on radio and all over the world via internet.
Thank you for granting me the unique honor, for my first official act as a member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, to officially induct my longtime friend and mentor, Buck Owens into the Hall of Fame on that same evening.
Your keen insight to bring the Rockabilly Hall of Fame into existence prompted Dale Brooks and others to remember a pre-teenage kid from Jane Lew, West Virginia who was rocking Classic Country Songs to audiences before Elvis had made his first reocrd. Until Dale Brooks made me aware of The Rockabilly Hall of Fame with his story of watching me perform Country Music in that "unusual way" in my childhood years, I must admit that I was unaware of the fact that my natural style had had the pioneering influence which others say they have recognized from the first time they were exposed to Mayf Nutter music.
For bringing those early days of performing with my Dad and Mother, P-Nut and Anna Kay Nutter, to the forefront of my memory and calling attention to the gift of music that they passed down to me, I will be eternaly grateful.
And thank you for encouraging this West Virginia Hill-BILLY to keep on aROCKin'.

Sincerely,
Mayf Nutter
GOD BLESS BUCK!
