  • "Bouncin' Bill Baker" was definitely a giant in the world of disc jockeys. Coming from Pittsburgh PA, he worked at W.I.B.C. Radio (AM) in the 50's and 60's here in Indianapolis, and was instrumental in supporting Art Adams, Ronnie Haig, as well as many other Indiana and midwestern talents. Bill was also the DJ that was chosen to introduce the "Beatles" when they made their appearance at "The Indiana State Fairgrounds." If I could pick one man that did the most for me as an individual talent, it would be Bouncin' Bill Baker. I'm sure others will agree. He was also twice "DJ of the year" - Ronnie Haig
