  • Hank Cochran passed away at his Hendersonville, Tennessee home, July 16, 2010.

  • NOTE: Charlie Louvin has stage II pancreatic cancer. His operation will be on July 22th of this year.

  • Jimmy Kish, "The Flying Cowboy", age 84 of Nashville, passed away May 27, 2010.

  • Judy Lynn Kelly has died in Indiana at the age of 74 Wednesday May 26, 2010 at her home in Jeffersonville after suffering congestive heart failure.
    Ms. Kelly was born in Boise, Idaho, and got her big break in her teens when she was hired to fill in for Jean Shepard during a touring show of performers from the Grand Ole Opry. In 1952, she was part of a show with Gene Autry.

    All three spoke about the pros and cons of becoming successful at an early age. The event was held at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame, Saturday, February 20, 2010.

    STELLA PARTON
    Stella, Dolly's younger sister, has released 22 albums with 28 chart singles. She appeared at the Ernest Tubb Texas Troubadour Theater in Nashville February 12, 2010 on the TRADITIONAL COUNTRY OPRY show. Also on stage: Dean Holmen, Allen Karl, Joe Berry, Leon Seiter and JK Coltrain.
